Magic foods. What are they? How do they help?

Some foods are referred to as ‘magic foods’, what this means is that they trick your body into thinking your full when your not therefore sustaining the hunger feeling. The trick with these foods are to eat when your hungry and don’t when your not. Sounds simple doesn’t it?

Here is a selection of the foods classed as “magic foods”, these will take that hunger feeling away without over filling yourself, there are more, you just have to find them.

Grapes are one of the best as they fill you up very fast and are full of all the vitamins the body requires to function, grapes also don’t contain artificial sugars. Bananas are another fulfilling fruit as they are sweet and creamy but is also full of vitamins, don’t go eating too many though as they are full of starch and excess starch will make you gain weight.

The next one is technically not a food but by drinking lots of water will fill you up fast and is good for your kidneys, the most efficient method is to have a glass or two of water before every meal and you will not be able to eat as much therefore lowering your calorie intake dramatically which will help you burn off excess calories.

Another satisfying food/drink which is easily made is to make a fat free smoothie which will refresh you as much as fill you up, simply grab some ice, frozen fruit and fruit juice. There is no need for milk or yoghurt which will add to the calories and it tastes just as good without!

The main ingredient that will help you through this is fibre, by eating high fibre meals such as bran and whole wheat will instantly fill you up. Even if you buy the fibre powder and have it in a glass of water you will be able to take that starving feeling away and loosing weight simultaneously.
