Do negative calories exist?

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could eat something and it not add to your calorie count? Well the fact is – you can!

It’s not the fact the food your eating contains negative calories (that would be impossible), what people mean when they mention “negative calories” is that you burn more calories eating it then the food contains. A simple example would be if you ate something containing 15 calories but you use 25 calories to eat it, that’s 10 negative calories eaten. This is a sure way to loose those unwanted pounds as you still get to eat but your using more calories doing so, therefore burning the excess fat in your body.

Tips on keeping motivated when it comes to weight loss

When it comes to weight loss the key factor to success is to keep motivated and sticking to targets which can be a difficult task to do, below are a few methods that will help you stick to it and get that body you always wanted.

Only one person can make you do the daily exercises and eat healthier – and that’s you! After talking to a few people and their motivation methods I will list a few of the best ones (in my opinion), by the way these are not in any specific order.

Do you have metabolic syndrome?

Metabolic syndrome is very common in overweight people and can have some serious consequences if ignored such as increasing the risk of diabetes and heart disease.

If you are overweight keep a close eye on any symptoms which could give you doubt of having metabolic syndrome. These include insulin resistance, high blood pressure, excessive weight, high cholesterol and increased levels of uric acids. If you have any doubt you may be suffering with metabolic syndrome consult a doctor to discuss the actions to be taken.
