Decided to diet? Which one to go for
Never trust what you read on the packing of food, foods which are said to be fat free are more then likely doing more harm then good as they disguise the fatty products under different names, such as Trans or hydrogenated fats which as said can do even more damage then consumer saturated fats in the first place. You need to find the balance that your body can handle as if you eat too little your body burns muscles which creates more fat and if you over eat the excess food will just be stored as fat.
There are many diets which claim to make you loose weight by eating healthy and giving you a point system and lets you decide what you eat but only allow a certain amount of points per day. A popular diet is the Atkins diet, which goes with the approach of a ‘low carb diet’. Many people follow this diet as the creator Dr Robert Atkins was a medical doctor and is believed to be reliable. The basic principle behind this diet is to cut down on carbs which will increase the rate of fat and muscle in your body which will allow the body to burn stored body fat more efficiently.
This diet allows you to each rich, enjoyable meal such as red meats, fish, chicken and cheese and butter. (Which is good for a diet as 9 out of 10 cut that out straight away) the Atkins diet strongly recommends for you to only eat around 20 grams of carbs a day which is essential in the early days/weeks of the diet. After the first few weeks you can add more carbs in to your diet slowly but need to keep to a strict diet plan or you will not see any difference.
