Diet: gain weight
Wow!! Yup, you should already well aware of this. Even you are in the process of diet, instead of weight loss, you even store more fat! What happens???
Two out three Americans are outweight and in another source approximately 64% of American adults are overweight or obese, due mostly to overeating and lack of exercise!.
You are probably surprised and wondered, I mean, what about all those low-fat foods that we eat? How come I diet but instead of losing weight, I am even gaining more weight?
How did this happen? Well, in the process of counting fat grams, you measured the fat content on every food you eat, you don’t realize that you also stop counting calories! Many of us bought in to the theory that if it’s “low-fat†it won’t make us fat. Well, that is not correct!
You must not forget counting calories! Like I briefly mentioned in Burn calories: Introduction, if you eat more calories than you need, the body will store them as fat. It doesn’t matter whether the calories are from fat, ethanol, proteins, organic acids or carbohydrates. Just as simple as that. So, now, what you must work on, is how to burn those excess of calories within your body.
